To many, Erskine "Chuck" Faush, Jr., is a gifted communicator and consensus builder whose experience speaking to small and large audiences began as a youth and sharpened over time and environments. He has uniquely positioned his skills to storytelling and galvanize a call to action from idea to execution. He has the respect of his peers in public, private, and nonprofit arenas, having led teams in transformative and catalytic projects and programs.
As a broadcaster, he produced content and programming for national networks and Fortune 500 companies. Serving as Chief of Staff for the City of Birmingham, Alabama, he led community & economic development teams and civic stakeholders in $1B in infrastructure new builds and refurbishments throughout the city, local and international teams that produced a multi-city Civil Rights campaign resulting in a Historic National Park Monument designation by President Barack Obama. As a senior leadership team member of a national media company that doubled its footprint, he established an event and digital business unit. He served as Chief Development & Innovation Officer for the Chicago Urban League, curating new programming and revenue pillars. He stood up and led the Community & Economic Development Team for one of the nation's leading energy companies, which was awarded the International Economic Development Council Bronze and Silver Awards for Innovative Programs and Public Private Partnerships, respectively.
He is an ordained Elder in the AME Zion Church and a member of several civic and business boards, including the Chicago Humanities, Harriet Tubman Foundation, Regions Bank, and HBCU Center of Excellence. He is currently on loan to Miles College in Birmingham, Alabama, as an Executive In Residence.
